Images
Photographic images can transport the viewer into another world, show alternative viewpoints, or reveal hidden emotions and glimpses of forgotten relationships. The After the Asylum Project led us to a number of of photographic collections contemporary to the deinstitutionalization period which are presented here along with earlier photographs from BC psychiatric facilities.
As with other sections of Resources, we are interested in building up our photographic collections. If you have photographs that you would think would be appropriate for Madness Canada, please fill out and submit this donation form.
If Madness Canada images are to be used in a published form that renders them publicly available, permission to use them must be sought from Madness Canada by submitting this permission form. Classroom, conference or personal use does not require our permission.
