The text was developed by Kira A. Smith except for the section on Rivka. Rivka’s story was developed by Sarah Sbeiti thanks to a student research grant from the Nursing History Research Unit at the University of Ottawa.

Special thanks to Marie-Claude Thifault and Susan Lamb who supported this project in all its stages. Without Marie-Claude, the Québec section of this project would be impossible.

All portraits were created by the talented and ever impressive, Maia Weintrager (@maiaw.art).

Translation was done by Corinne Viau. Alexandre Klein graciously provided French editing.

The project was funded by AMS Healthcare. Special thanks to Megan Dupuis for budget assistance.

Thank you to the numerous people who supported the project, including but not limited to Geoffrey Reaume, Megan J. Davies, and Andrew Taber.

This exhibit is dedicated to the children featured throughout.
